Region Stockholm enjoys an AAA long term credit rating with stable outlook from the independent rating agency S&P Global Ratings. The credit rating is the highest possible on the rating scale.
About the rating
S&P Global Ratings conducts a credit assessment twice a year and reports once a year, in March/April, describing the credit rating. S&P Global Ratings has confirmed the high creditworthiness of Region Stockholm for several years. In March 2025, Region Stockholm received the highest possible long-term rating of AAA. The short-term rating is also the highest, namely A-1+.
